English Basics: Tenses

1. Present Simple

โครงสร้าง: Subject + V1 (s/es ถ้า He/She/It)

ตัวอย่าง: It rains every day.

แปล: ฝนตกทุกวัน (เป็นความจริง/นิสัยประจำ)คำบอกเวลา: always, often, usually, every day

2. Present Continuous

โครงสร้าง: Subject + am/is/are + V-ing

ตัวอย่าง: It is raining now.

แปล: ตอนนี้ฝนกำลังตกคำบอกเวลา: now, at the moment, right now

3. Present Perfect

โครงสร้าง: Subject + have/has + V3

ตัวอย่าง: It has rained already.แปล: ฝนตกไปแล้ว (ตอนนี้พื้นยังเปียก)

คำบอกเวลา: already, just, ever, never, since, for

4. Present Perfect Continuous

โครงสร้าง: Subject + have/has + been + V-ing

ตัวอย่าง: It has been raining for two hours.

แปล: ฝนตกต่อเนื่องมา 2 ชั่วโมงแล้ว (และยังตกอยู่)

คำบอกเวลา: for, since, all day, recently

เคย ไม่เคย ...แล้ว ...หรือยัง

5. Past Simple

โครงสร้าง: Subject + V2

ตัวอย่าง: It rained yesterday.

แปล: ฝนตกเมื่อวานนี้ (เหตุการณ์จบไปแล้ว)

คำบอกเวลา: yesterday, ago, last week/year

6. Past Continuous

โครงสร้าง: Subject + was/were + V-ing

ตัวอย่าง: It was raining when I left home.

แปล: ตอนฉันออกจากบ้าน ฝนกำลังตกอยู่

คำบอกเวลา: while, when, at that time

7. Past Perfect

โครงสร้าง: Subject + had + V3

ตัวอย่าง: It had rained before we arrived.

แปล: ก่อนที่เราจะมาถึง ฝนตกไปแล้ว

คำบอกเวลา: before, after, by the time

8. Past Perfect Continuous

โครงสร้าง: Subject + had + been + V-ing

ตัวอย่าง: It had been raining all night before morning came.

แปล: ฝนตกทั้งคืนก่อนถึงตอนเช้า

คำบอกเวลา: for, since, until, before

9. Future Simple (will)

โครงสร้าง: Subject + will + V1

ตัวอย่าง: It will rain tomorrow.

แปล: พรุ่งนี้ฝนจะตก

คำบอกเวลา: tomorrow, soon, next week

10. Future Continuous

โครงสร้าง: Subject + will + be + V-ing

ตัวอย่าง: It will be raining at 5 p.m.

แปล: ตอน 5 โมงเย็น ฝนจะกำลังตก

คำบอกเวลา: this time tomorrow, at … in the future

11. Future Perfect

โครงสร้าง: Subject + will + have + V3

ตัวอย่าง: It will have rained by the time you arrive.

แปล: กว่าคุณจะมาถึง ฝนก็คงจะตกไปแล้ว

คำบอกเวลา: by tomorrow, by next year, before …

12. Future Perfect Continuous

โครงสร้าง: Subject + will + have + been + V-ing

ตัวอย่าง: It will have been raining for hours by the evening.

แปล: กว่าจะถึงตอนเย็น ฝนก็คงจะตกต่อเนื่องมาหลายชั่วโมงแล้ว

คำบอกเวลา: for, since, by …

Past Continuous	S + was/were + V-ing	It was raining when I left home.	ฝนกำลังตกตอนฉันออกจากบ้าน
Past Perfect	S + had + V3	It had rained before we arrived.	ฝนตกก่อนที่เราจะมาถึง
Past Perfect Continuous	S + had + been + V-ing	It had been raining all night before morning came.	ฝนตกทั้งคืนก่อนเช้า
